Out of Reach...
"What, Mom? I am not doing anything."
I think that if Andy could go everywhere with Pat, he would!
You know you are old when...
2. The older gentleman in the elevator points to your almost one year old son and asks, "Is he your grandson?" And being caught off guard you answer "yes". ( Sniff, sniff... I didn't think my one gray hair and the lines around my eyes were that noticeable. Maybe it is my round soft looking figure. He also guessed that Andy was 6 months old. )
3. Your husband makes a wonderful dinner and cake, friends come over and the only pictures you manage to get of the day are of your son before and after the party. (Oh, maybe that falls under "You know your a mom when...)
I had a wonderful 31st birthday! Thanks for all the calls, facebook messages, cards and visits!!
Pretending to go to work, just like dad!

Here he is blowing me a kiss.
He now willingly helps me sweep, oh how I hope it lasts.
He climbed into his Bumbo all by himself.
It was actually quite tricky for him to get his legs in the right place.
Our Little Primate
I usually pick up the Family room every night, only to have Andy destroy it every morning.

A Day With the Scouts
Saturday Andy and I decided to crash the Boyscout hiking outing. Actually Patrick invited us. I am glad he did. We had a great time hiking and Andy enjoyed playing with the scouts. They are very good with him. Andy thinks he is one of the big boys!
Andy was cold at the top that he wasn't very happy with us. I felt bad. He was dressed warm but his hands and face were still a little cold.
Andy trying to warm his hand on Patrick's neck!
Because it is getting to be the end of autumn, the trail was covered with leaves, which were beautiful but slippery.
On the way down Andy finally fell asleep for about thirty minutes.
The cool thing about bare trees is you can see what is normally hidden, like this wasp's nest for example.
David Badger, Patrick and Andy walking down the trail.
Patrick pulled out his kite, but the strings were tangled, they had to untangle everything before they could attempt to fly the kite, there was barely enough wind to get it up a couple of times.
Snack time with the Scouts!
Patiently waiting for his turn with the football.
Gio would throw the football to Julius, Julius would lightly toss it to Andy, then Julius would pick it up and toss it to Chet. I was very impressed that they found a way to include Andy.
Future BYU Quarterback!
With the strings untangled, the Kite was ready to soar.
