Some how I convinced Patrick to walk the 3.5 miles to Orchard Beach on Memorial Day. My jogging stroller was in need of some repairs so we used our sit and stand stroller, which is a great stroller, but Andy will easily fall asleep in the jogging stroller, and no so much in the sit and stand. Needless to say that although he was tired and his head was bobbing he managed to stay a wake the whole walk there.

Look closely and you will see the drool from a moment of almost sleeping on his tray.
We had a quick picnic lunch and Andy was off and ready to play. We let him play in the grass for a little bit and then went to the playground. We did not actually go to the beach because it was packed with people so was the playground but it was more tolerable.

Stick hunting was successful.

And so was swinging.

But the big hit of the day was the fountain was on.

The water was cold but luckily it was a hot day.

He held on to our squirt gun most of the time.
Chilling out with Dad hoping to have a sip of his Coke-a-cola. Sorry buddy!
We then walked the 3.5 miles home. Andy slept the whole way home and woke up as we got to the apartments and the spot to meet the Badgers, Hansens, and Grace Poulsen (her husband Dave was still studying for Step One of the Boards) to play a little Botchy Ball. Both Andy and Breyton tried to play with us at first but decided sticks were more fun.

What a perfect rock to beat with a stick.
The net was fun to beat too. These two are all boy!!!
The Hansen's won the Botchy Ball game. Oh well guess Patrick and I need to practice before the next game.
