California Here We Come...

My sister Laura got home from her Mission March 20th. Andy and I decided it would be fun to see her get off the plane so we flew to California on March 19th. Andy did very well on his first airplane ride. (Sorry no pictures because I was by myself.) The only mishap was that he exploded out of his diaper twice and their where no changing tables on the plane. I managed to change his diaper standing up in an airplane bathroom and didn't get any fecal matter on me. I was quite proud of myself. He did mess his pants a third time, but not enough to leak out. Since we were close to landing I waited until we landed to change him again.

My parents picked us up from the San Fransisco Airport and drove us back to Sacramento. We stopped at the Ghirardelli Chocolate shop in Lathrop and shared a sundae. Yum!

Since everyone was home my parents converted the living room into a bedroom for Andy and I. It was fun seeing everyone. Andy really enjoyed his Grandparents, Aunts, Uncle, and cousins. Below are some pictures from our trip. Since I came home with over 400 pictures on my camera I narrowed it down to a few, at least not as many as I took.

Ava and Andrew are only a month apart. Hopefully they will be good friends.

Waiting for Laura to be released.

Andrew, No motorcycle until you are retired!

Mavrick, Amanda and Aunt Dana came to visit.

Pictures from Ava's blessing. Andrew Adored watching Mattox and Kali Play. Mattox kept saying "I like him." and "He likes me." I think Mattox enjoyed having another boy around.

I also posted pictures from Utah, so go check those out too. That is if you aren't tired of looking at picures yet.

Does anyone else see a similarity?

We Spent the last weekend in Utah to celebrate my Grandpa Nelson's 80th birthday. It was fun seeing my grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins etc. from both my mom's side of the family and my dad's.

Be Happy!

So, as many of you have noticed, Julie and I haven't been very good about updating the blog recently. The primary reason is that she and Andy are out west celebrating Laura's return from her mission and G-Pa Nelson's birthday. I can't wait for them to come back home!

As I was missing my two favorite people, I found a video we took of Andy that brightened my whole day. I thought I would go ahead and post it so others could smile. Enjoy!

Pain = Gain

Now for the moment you have all been waiting for. I , Andrew, will perform my latest trick. I would like to send a special thanks to mom (aka Julie) for making this video possible and for posting this event for me. Watch as my head gets the momentum going. Enjoy!

Sunday Evening Naps

Sundays are usually a relatively relaxing day for us. Julie and I sleep in as late as Andy will allow, which generally means we get up at around 9 or 10. We then take our time getting ready for church, leave the apartment by 12:45, and arrive at Sacrament Meeting just in time to sing the last verse of the opening hymn. Today was not normal, however. From the beginning, our schedule was thrown off with Daylight Savings Time. Add to that the fact that Julie had to prepare a talk, I was slower than usual, and Julie had an 11:30 meeting and you have the makings of an exhausting day! To help recover, we took naps once we came home. There's just nothing like a nice nap on Sunday. It definitely beats other day's naps hands down. As a matter of fact, if there aren't Sunday naps in Heaven, I don't know if I want to go!

Like father, like son! Andy and I both think church is pretty exhausting.

Like mother, like son! It was Julie's turn to nap, and Andy, being the smartest of the family, decided to join her.

Playing

Andrew is playing with his toys more and more.

He is also enjoying tummy time so much more since he figured out how to hold his head up.

Blowing spit bubbles is fun to do! Messy and slobbery...but fun!

He loves his puppy!

Hope you enjoy the pictures! I am too tired to write much more.
